How Wondfo Pregnancy Tests Work
Wondfo tests are strip-style pregnancy tests - they come without a plastic casing and are used by dipping the strip directly into a cup of urine. They use pink dye and have a sensitivity of approximately 25 mIU/mL.
While less sensitive than First Response, Wondfo strips are reliable at detecting pregnancy from the day of a missed period. Many people use them for frequent early testing due to their low price, then confirm with a more sensitive test.
Reading a Faint Line on Wondfo
Any pink line - regardless of how faint - on a Wondfo strip within the reading window (5 minutes) indicates hCG detection and is a positive result. Because Wondfo uses pink dye, faint positives are generally easier to interpret than blue dye tests.
However, Wondfo strips can sometimes show very faint, non-specific marks due to the strip material. The key test: does the line have actual pink color? If yes, it is positive. If the mark is colorless or gray, it is likely an evaporation line.

Common Wondfo Line Interpretation Issues
Because Wondfo strips are thin and unencased, they can sometimes pick up contaminants or show irregular marks more easily than cased tests. Always dip only the max fill line area into urine and avoid touching the test area.
Wondfo strips are also more prone to evaporation lines than cased tests if left in humid environments or if the strip is read after the result window. Photograph the strip within 5 minutes for the most reliable reading.
When to Trust a Wondfo Result
For most reliable results, use Wondfo strips from the day of your missed period. Before that, their 25 mIU/mL sensitivity may miss early pregnancies that a more sensitive test would catch. Many TTC users use Wondfo for testing from 10 DPO onwards and confirm any faint positive with a FRER.
